CallBack Verification is easy. Here is what is going to happen:
1. The BBS is going to hangup the phone. You should
eventually see the words "NO CARRIER" on your
screen. Do *NOT* type anything while the BBS is
is trying to hang up the phone.
2. The BBS is going to wait 10 seconds and then it
will call you. You should see the word "RING"
on your screen.
3. Type ATA and then a return. Your modem should
reconnect with the BBS. You'll be prompted for
your password to log back in.
The BBS will allow the phone to ring for 15 seconds. If you don't answer, the BBS will hang up. It will wait a few seconds and try again. The BBS will make THREE attempts to call you, if you don't answer by then, it will give up and CallBack Verification will have failed. You can call back and try again, if you wish.
